DFR Notice Update

Salem, Oregon, April 13, 2026 – At ATRIO Health Plans, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, local care to the communities we serve. Following the recent announcement by the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation (DFR), we want to provide important context regarding our financial standing and our path forward.

For over 21 years, ATRIO has been a trusted healthcare partner for Oregonians. We started as a local solution for Medicare Advantage, and that commitment to our neighbors in Clackamas, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lane, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington, and Yamhill counties remains our highest priority.

While the DFR’s order reflects historical financial challenges, ATRIO is pleased to report a significant shift in our financial trajectory.  ATRIO is now profitable this year and the claims backlog mentioned by the DFR is on pace to be resolved within 60 days.

ATRIO is working transparently and collaboratively with the DFR representative. Given our current profitable status and the corrective measures already in place, we are confident that we will resolve the Department’s concerns and successfully end the period of supervision within the currently assigned 60 days.

We thank our members and the Oregon medical community for their continued trust as we finalize this process and return to independent operations, stronger and more sustainable than ever.
